    I had same issue - getting Unsupported authentication type: B when opening terminal. I was changing port, and that led to this situation. But it was easy to fix. I closed the present terminal window and opened a new, where I entered in the details again (remember IP is 127.0.0.1 and entered in the port, and everything worked ok.
