  • Wordpress multisite subdomains not working

Hello, thanks in advance for any information you can provide me and for the great work with aapanel. I'm testing alibaba ECS service, restoring a wordpress multisite akeeba backup, I have installed aapanel with openlitespeed, php, mysql, everything looking good, even ssl works. The multisite is configured to use subdomains like xxx.mainsite.com, it is not working at all but main site is working fine. Anybody with experience using wordpress multisite, aapanel and openlitespeed?

    Are there any errors prompted when the browser opens the subdomain that does not work?

    Is your subdomain created as an independent website?

      I question it, how can settings the WordPress MultiSite! A make a Domain Multisite with Domain Mapping Plugin, when is setting the name of the domain, e.g: xxx.xxx & yyy.yyy & zzz.zzz & etc... And when is open the xxx.xxx is alright, but i open yyy.yyy not working, because the domain not avaible. I think how it setup, I add the website (domain) and I list the default dir? And i use centos 8 and nginx!! Pls Help Me!

        Here are some point to look at.

        1. Make sure you set ssl on the main domain via the dns.
        2. Set up a sub domain *.abcd.com
        3. In your domain provider and do yourself a favor and use cloudfare enter a wild card
          Type A Name * Content (your server Ip) TTl Auto

        Than you can worry about the plugin. I hate wordpress as it is just a terrible terrible system so honestly I do not touch it but from the server point of view you will need all that set.
