Hi, can you give us your aapanel information? The server makes a snapshot backup first, if possible, please send it to kern@aapanel.com.
It is recommended to fill in the following
Post link:
SSH IP address, account password and port:
aapanel login link address and account password:
Detailed problem description:
No post link will not be able to know which user's information is, and the problem will not be processed
aaPanel_Kern Hi, My aapanel is the latest version Current version: aaPanel Stable 7.0.9
Release time: 2024-09-12. My server OS is Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. This error is when I tried to save the SSL key and certificate, it gives this error. I can't really give out my server info due to company security policy, but I was able to replicate this error using a completely different server on a different network, so this is not limited to my machine. Any idea how to fix this please? Thank you
Hello, I suggest you check whether the certificate is correctly configured and what web service you are using?
aaPanel_Kern The certificates installation was working in Ubuntu 22 and the previous version of AAPanel, however this error occured AFTER server upgrade to Ubuntu 24 and also upgraded AApanel at the same time, then this error happened when I tried to save a new certificate and a new key into the SSL. Even when I just press "save" to what was already saved in the panel, it gives the same error.
Where did you apply for your certificate? Was it purchased? Is it convenient to send it to us for testing?
aaPanel_Kern I have tried several certificates, both free and paid, all give the same error. Also just now I SSHed into the server and checked under the path "/www/server/panel/vhost/cert/"my site .com" , there I could only see two files, "fullchain.pem" and "privkey.pem“,so I manually created "cert.pem" and pasted the SSL certificate in it, saved it. Although this still didn't work. But I read online there's supposed to be three files in this path, so mine the "cert.pem" was missing. Although even after I manually created and added this file, it still doesn't work, reports the same error when saving SSL info from aapanel.

Hello, I just tested and there is no such problem
aaPanel_Kern If there's no such problem I wouldn't be posting here right? At this point I need to know how many files are there supposed to be in "/www/server/panel/vhost/cert/"my site .com" ? Should there be a "cert.pem" file there?? I only see two files in my server.
On the server that you tested without any problem, is it a server upgraded from Ubuntu 22 to Ubuntu 24? If so, during upgrade, what options did you selected when prompted, keep the current version or use the package maintainer's version?
Hello, I suggest you check whether the configured certificate content is correct? Can it be sent to us for checking?
nginx configuration certificate example:
ssl_certificate /www/server/panel/vhost/cert/ad.com/fullchain.pem;
ssl_certificate_key /www/server/panel/vhost/cert/ad.com/privkey.pem;
aaPanel_Kern I'm using apache server. Is there an example for the Apache server?
Hello, you can check it from the configuration of the site
