Hi, how can i use domain to access the panel ? currently, i am accesseing with ip address but i want to access with domain. Please, guid me with full details.

You can go to Settings menu and set your desirable domain/subdomain on "Domain" textbox for accessing your panel. Also you can set SSL for this domain/subdomain if you want.

Don't forget to point your domain/subdomain to your server IP address.

You should add a A record on your DNS Manager to point your server IP. What DNS manager do you use for your domain?

[unknown] i used aapanel DNS manager. this is my domain http://dihox.com/ this is already pointed to my server. but when i add my subdomain for accessing cpanel then its not work.

Jimmy its not work. and i am using aapanel DNS manager. i install this dns manager from app store of aapanel. my domain work perfectly but when i added my subdomain to access my panel. then i can't access my panel with my subdomain

rahul980170 If your domain name is resolved through cloudflare, please check if the proxy is enabled, you need to set it to dns only

It works this way, but I recommend a better alternative which also supports ssl certs. In nginx, create a new server with the domain that you'd like to access the panel. Enable reverse dns, point to the http://ip:8888 and then force https for this nginx server. Your cert will validate too.

Turbine I did exactly as you wrote here. the result is: "Sorry, You do NOT Have Permission to Access. Please check the domain! View domain bound: cat /www/server/panel/data/domain.conf Turn off access limit: rm -f /www/server/panel/data/domain.conf" The domain is set correctly at the path above. Can someone advise on this please?

I am having the exactly same issue and neither of the sollutions worked out for me. Unable to access my aapanel trought panel.mydomain.com , neither with the explicit port nor in any other way but with the direct ip of my server.

Edit: Thotght I found the sollution installing the SYS firewall and inserting 7800 port on the security tab, but even that worked out for me.

Hello, have you solved the problem?
If not, check whether the domain name resolution points to the IP address of the server and the proxy is not enabled
Check if the full link access panel is used

aaP_usanuman this works for me i am using cloudflare what i did is below and 100% working.

Create A record in cloudflare input server IP
Generate Client certificate in cloudflare then copy (Key & Certificate (in pem format))
Go to AAPANEL enable cloudflare supported PORT as written above.
AAPANEL> setting enter domain or subdomain address
5.Enable SSL select i have certificate and paste the cloudflare in step2 and save.

Hope this will help others who bump into this kind of situation.

me too, actually I've been trying for couple years already 😄
I tried everything with no luck.

I wonder how important is to set the domain and SSL for the panel if I'm the only one using it,,, any thoughts?

Is it safe to make anther site panel.example.com, and use the same cloudflare ssl certificate?
or is it better to make a lets encrypt sll different from the main domain?
By the way I'm using IP, not domain name on my panel
