  • Nginx WAF conflict with nginx 1.24.0

I have installed nginx 1.24.0 on my server and everything works fine.
After the installation of Nginx WAF there is a conflict in the configuration of nginx for the lua_package_path as you can see in the attached image.
What should I do ?

    Hi, try to reinstall nginx. Please select compilation mode during installation, and then install nginx waf, is it normal?

      Unfortunately no my friend, this cause me a lot other problems.
      I rolled back to the previous state with nginx 1.21.4 and everything is working fine

        Hi, I have this problem too
        On nginx 1.24
        and the free nginx firewall

        No, I can reset
        And not to edit nginx

        When I remove the firewall
        The problem is solved

          may i know what is the correct steps to fix this?
          im currently got the same error on nginx 1.24. 'switched' to 1.22, still the same error.
          Should i uninstall both nginx & the WAF first. then reinstall nginx 1.22, followed by the WAF?
