Have you installed SSL for the mail server?
jonhcarter when i try to install it.... they shown nothing... i mean...
and then
after this loading... nothing happen.... do you had the solution?
also... if i using cloudflare... the problem still the same... nothing added to the ssl....
they didn't installed... but the popup for application certificate appear.... but after dissapear... nothing added on ssl....
Change Cloudflare SSL settings to Flexible & then generate the SSL with the first option file method. for the DNS method, you need to disable the Cloudflare proxy first in Cloudflare DNS settings.
jonhcarter yeah same...
Cloudflare "Your SSL/TLS encryption mode is Flexible"
and proxy status... dns only,,,,
then i create ssl with manual resolution and cloudflare...
it's ended same... after loading... nothing happen on my side... they just dissapear....
no ssl added or else....
any other solution?
i hope i can get mail server working.... on past... i already use it and it's works everytime.... just now i had this problem
Look like you SSL running well now. Does your web and mail service using different server?
You may WA me if need help, I'm at Jakarta, Kota Komputer 082111978168
aaP_kotakomputer.ceo i mean... so i just copy and paste the ssl from web to the mailserver?
login roundcube is on mail subdomain
and the ssl i just paste it from parent domain?
because the issue is the ssl doesn't even added after loading
Now i get
" The IP address sending this message does not have a 550-5.7.25 PTR record setup" error
the way i can fix the error on original post is port "25" filtered (the vps company) said it's open... but it's filtered when i tested with nmap it's said "filtered" so the vps company fix it and now it's solved....
but now... the new problem is, any email that i sent... never arrive... for gmail user
it says
bounced (host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[142.251.12.27] said: 550-5.7.25 [103.187.146.233] The IP address sending this message does not have a 550-5.7.25 PTR record setup, or the corresponding forward DNS entry does not 550-5.7.25 point to the sending IP. Solution for all this is....
i hope someone that had similar problem should fixed with my solution
I`m using Contabo hosting.
The support team asked me to add the PTR record from my control panel.
I have two fields In the Reverse DNS management
IP ADDRESS ( my server IP address )
PTR RECORD: mydomain.com ( my real domain )
But, sometimes I get PTR error from Gmail.
I must say, my DNS management is with Cloudflare.
Do I need to add PTR to my Cloudflare DNS records?
Hello, PTR records generally need to be set up by the server provider or network provider.
aaPanel_Kern
I`m using a VPS and they told me to use my VPS control panel to add a Reverse DNS record ( PTR ).
Yes, some vps can be set up in their management background
aaPanel_Kern
What do I need to fill out in the PTR record field?
mydomain.com?
Domain name and IP
aaPanel_Kern
That is what I did.
However, sometimes I receive a PTR error:
It is recommended to consult the VPS provider and check whether the configuration is effective and correct.
