Hello, Im trying out aapanel and Im liking it, however there is one problem. To try it out I got a simple linode $5 server 1GB & 1 core. I installed mysql 5.6, php 7.3, nginx and added a basic wordpress website to try it out. However whenever I load the website the cpu goes upto 100% and then straight back down again. Any advice?

@aaPanel_Jose I have recently changed to the open litespeed which is better but still doing the same to a degree, can I still use opcache and enable query cache? Would you recommend openlightspeed over nginx? Im just testing at the minute. Im liking your panel, just not sure how heavy it is on resources

Thank you, it’s correct that you have to restart the service after making the change to database query cache to 128? Is 128 a fair value to use for a small 1mb 1 cpu server. Any other good settings for small servers. super impressed by your panel, there isn’t a console option within the panel is there?

I have installed htop to monitor the cpu and it appears alot higher on your monitor than htop, any way that the panel be giving a higher cpu than it actually is?

I'm also having the same issue when I try to stress test the server.

The issue is with php. I suspect aaPanel has poor handling of php processes.

I have posted several times in the forum and @aaPanel_Jose won't give a response

aapanel_power for the record: I'm very happy with aapanel. I use Nginx+php7.4+MariaDB+mailserver
It's enough for me. I like keeping things simple and I don't expect everything on a platter. As for OS, I'm using Centos 7 for over a year, and I test ubuntu 20 now. The only minor issues I can think of now are the MariaDB (10.4.ZZ) update and the Apcu 5.1.20 update.

Man, for Wordpress with few plugins you need minimum 2 core... Not 1 core, always will be 100% load. Try Contabo VPS, cheap and 1 year outage: 0. (monitored with Freshping.io)

CyberPanel runs on OpenLiteSpeed or LiteSpeed and it gives the same performance with aaPanel and OLS with Litespeed Cache Plugin.
