i installed mail server successfully but when i click on settings for mail server it says Mail Server is not currently installed, is it installed? when i click on confirm it says Installing post office service, it may take 5-10 minutes, please wait ... and after while is says prepration failed what can i do to fix it? again i didnt have any problem with aapanel on centos 7 but on centos 8 nothing works propely

nobandegan +1 UP I have the same problem. I just purchased a new VPS and installed CentOS 8. To my surprise I am having some difficulties that I did not have with the use of CentOS 7. Now I am stopped in the deployment of MailServer.

I even thought about redoing the entire installation from scratch with CentOS 7 but after analyzing some benchmarks I saw that CentOS 8 has a great performance gain under 7. We are talking about approximately 33% more performance in general. I'll stick with 8 and wait for help from @aaPanel_Jose .

Because centos8 some packages cannot be installed using yum or dnf. We need to schedule a rewrite of the installation script, if you must use it now we recommend you use ubuntu18 or centos7

but when I clicked on it I get this error

I uninstalled mail server plugin, and I tried to install it again
but when I hit install, i get installation failed message

no need to answer, i restart server and panel
and i checked i already had mail server 2.6
i dont know how, but problem solved
