JAY lol tell your devs dont know how to do this
you can run nginx and apache on different ports
This combination on CentOS (now Central) Web Panel is lethal.
aapanel_power there is no doubt that Nginx is already the most popular WEB service in the world, so we recommend you to use Nginx.
Nginx is on the same level with Apache. Nginx at 35% and Apache at 33%. Litespeed comes a distant third with around 10%. The challenge is unlike Nginx and Apache, LiteSpeed is very expensive. And that delays the adoption of the web server.
They do have OpenLiteSpeed (free), which is a bad ass than both Nginx and Apache, but it has special rewrite rules that have a deep learning curve.
I'd suggest you tell the developers to consider using Central Web Panel's approach of combining Apache + Nginx + Varnish.
