Email server at IP address ??? E-shop

Good day,

We have created a VPS server where we only have an ip address as a URL address (eg http: /127.0.0.1/). This is an online store. We want to solve everything first on the IP url before moving it to the domain, e.g. example.com.

We have a problem with the fact that if we install the mail server application in aapanel (version 6.8.12), it will not help us and it does not work.
If I create an order on the e-shop, the email will not come anywhere.

How to solve it so that we can connect the e-mail server so that e-mails arrive from orders on e-shop?

A mail server NEEDS a domain to function. You need a funtional MX record, valid domain etc. You cannot setup a mailserver without a domain, this isn't an aapanel thing, it's any ...software.
