Hello aaPanel Support Team,
I’ve encountered an issue with the Docker management interface in the latest version of aaPanel (7.28.0). When I try to access the Docker section, I get the following message:
"Please start the docker service"
What’s Working Fine
Docker is running correctly in the background.
I verified this by running docker ps, and I can confirm my containers are up and operational.
I also have full access to my Docker-based projects — everything functions as expected from the command line and from the exposed services.
Issue Summary
aaPanel Version: 7.28.0
Problem: The Docker panel incorrectly reports that Docker is not running, which prevents me from accessing the Docker settings through the aaPanel UI.
Docker CLI: Fully operational; containers are up and accessible.
Restarted: I have already restarted the server, but the issue persists in the panel interface.
Request for Help
Is this a known issue with aaPanel 7.28.0 and Docker detection?
Could it be a UI or socket detection bug?
Any logs or config paths you recommend checking to resolve this?
Thanks in advance for your help — happy to provide more details or access if needed!
