I am operating aaPanel on CentOS 7.9.2009. The system packages have been updated, and aaPanel has just been updated to the very recent version, 7.0.13.
I am trying to upgrade Maria DB (Mysql) from version 10.2 to 11.3.
The particular operation is cumbersome, because it requires removing existing databases, making the user applications nonfunctional until the databases are restored from backup.
When I invoke the operation Switch version, from the configurations box, on the desired version for Mysql, the page displaying the panel reloads in the web browser, automatically, immediately and unexpectedly, with no change in the version of the database manager, Mysql.
No error message is reported.
For reference, I have encountered similar quirks for other attempted installation operations. Many simply have appeared to complete, but without any change in the installed version of an application, and others have never actually begun, even without any reported error message. Examples include attempts to install PHP 8.4, and several modules for PHP 8.3.
User applications remain inoperative, on the host system, due to the requirement of deleting all databases before beginning the operation to install a different version of the database manager. As such, I strongly wish that the issue may be resolved promptly.
