php mail not working

Hi, i've several joomla websites on my server, i'd like to enable php mail but the emails not arriving.
i've enabled php mail extension and removed from blocked extension, but still not working, i see the extension in php info.

what should i have to do/enable to get the php mail woks?

Check whether the configuration of the website connecting to the mail server is normal? If the website and database are on the same server, it is recommended to use the intranet address: Host: 127.0.0.1 port:25 Disable SSL/TLS

aaPanel_Kern i've not configured mail server, should i install mail server aswell?

i don't understand the link, i've not installed mail server, i'm trying to send email with php mail function.
maybe i have to install mailserver for php mail to work?

The php email function must also need a mail server. How can the php email extension send mail without an outgoing mail server?
