How can I protect my server from DDOS?

Hello everyone and Aapanel creators!

I'm using Nginx WAF but it doesn't seem to do anything against ddos attack or do I need to configure it somehow? I don't want to use OLS, it's fast and easy, but I noticed that there was a problem with php 8.3.

How can I protect my server from DDOS? Aapanel should be used by itself.

aaPanel_Kern I checked and updated, now it's working properly showing 0.2% CPU load. I think something went wrong before the update.
