Can you tell me the type of encryption used to store mail accounts password in the exported JSON file? I’m trying to make a json generator for my users so that they can enter their own password and then import that JSON file since there is no way for them to change their passwords

I want to make a php script that will allow user to set his own password which i can import to the mail server, some people are not comfortable with sharing their passwords in plain text

I just want to know the encryption type so i can encrypt it in the JSON created by my php script

Thank you very much for your reply, one more question, i can’t remember where i exported the JSON from, can you tell me the location to that menu? I’ve looked in Mail Server but nothing to import users
