I have system Centos 7 I want to make an additional drive of 2TB, and I have email data up to 800GB.

I want to move them to the second hard disk without affecting the email functionality and move them to the new drive.

any suggestions and is that will work smoothly?

Hello, you can try to stop all services of the mail service, copy the directory to a new hard drive, then rename /www/vmail, and make a soft link to the new directory to /www/vmail
Finally, start all services of the mail service and check whether they are normal

I stopped all services for the mail server, moved the /www/vmail folder to the new storage and created a soft link with the following command 🇦

ln -s /mnt/newstorage/vmail /www/vmail

after that, I started the service, and it worked!
