Hi AAPanel
I recently had to create a new vps server.
On my old server - panel --6.8 --- I was able to
use the reverse proxy function to attach a created
sub-domain with lets-encrypt ssl to access the
panel. -- On all browsers the domain and ssl worked.
I transferred all the domains / sub-domains to the new
panel 7.0.7 . Using all the same settings, reverse proxy
doesn't work. But 7.0.7 reverse proxy will access the old
6.8 panel. So the problem is not the reverse proxy method,
is is the new panel.
At reverse proxy and panel settings tried
Http sub-domain.com
to
Panel ssl off
http :// 22.002.00.002 : 12345 / 212121
--- error -- insecure connection
Http or Https sub-domain.com
to
Panel ssl -on- self signed
goes to 404
Http or Https sub-domain.com
with ssl enabled or disabled
using the same certificate as the
panel
to
Panel ssl -on- lets encrypt
gets ssl error message
applying lets-encrypt ssl
to only the sub-domain
or only to the panel address
gets a ssl error message.
turning off the force ssl at the
sub-domain doesn't work on
anything tried.
Turning off the security entrance
didn't didn't help.
A differant sub-domain to the panel
with a binded domain with ssl certificate
eg
123.sub.domain
to
https://panel.domain.com:010101/020202
-- results error message
Here is the problem ------------
binding a sub-domain to the
panel with a ssl certificate will
not work.
because it only works like this
https://panel.domain.com:010101/020202
This type of url- with port numbers and security
entrance numbers will not work through many
differant kinds of internet service connections.
