i have small vps ( 4 vCPU ,8 GB RAM , 100 GB NVMe , i will use it for Moodle website , i was using AlmaLinux with cwp webpanel , and recently found aapanel as good alternative , i tested it using ubuntu 20.04 , i was good and faster than cwp on AlmaLinux ( may be due to nginx faster than Apache). my question now is : debian 12 , ubunti 22 , AlmaLinux 8 ,9 which is better

Debian or Ubuntu is the most compatible OS. Ubuntu 20.04, everything is working perfect. it have 1 more year EOL.

thank you , i already tested Ubuntu 20 . Perfect, no single problem,
i just asking for performance, as I searched and found some articles says that Debian is more secure, and slightly faster
also, newer versions usually come with improvements.
