I have found a major BUG

if the access lot gets over a certain file size it will stop loading any data in to it and fail2ban will also stop working and you cannot create any new fail2ban rules

I was getting DDOS attacks on my site and the access log was 19k lines and it showed the error
"The file encoding is not compatible, the file cannot be read correctly!"

i tested it many times this only happen when it gets too big.

Fail2ban is also not working for me i tried to make it work but it doesn't block any ips at all
Please help me fix this so fail2ban will block ips
I even set the retry on fail to ban to 2 to 5 to test if it blocks any requests at all but its completely dead and doesn't do anything. I have restarted it, reloaded it reinstalled it many times and it doesn't work at all

I got a 1 million request ddos when eventually shut the server down but server was online for a long time as its 20 cores and 55 gb ram

fail2ban didnt work at all and didnt block any ip at all

aaPanel_Kern everything is normall i reinstalled fail2ban 3 to 4 times now
also delete the access log and restarted apache to create a new one

if the file gets big like 16mb in my case, you cannot create any rules on fail2ban and you cannot even open the file in the code editor
