Hi
Take salutation in advance.
I want to raise an issue regarding the problem databases recovery or restoring which is dependent on Aapanel WHM.
You can think of this problem from the perspective of disaster recovery of a server where Aapanel is installed.
The cases:
- Server ARM machine - Red Hat Enterprise 8.5 (Ootpa)(Py3.7.8)/oracle linux which is used to host Aapanel version 6.8.17.
- No backup policies has been used for disaster recovery available within Aapanel
- No upgradtion of Aapanel has been used.
Disaster:
Suddenly / mistakenly / unfortunately I deleted a database from the frontend of the aapanel UI, However, I know it's not possible to recover deleted database which is denoted as permenently gone from the perspective of Aapanel's system engineer or software architect. And I know there's no options to recover it using any hidden techniques that supports by Aapanel's system policies as I haven't used any of the features related to disaster recovery available within Aapanel, so there's no restoring talk needed that could have been possible simply using a backup file..
So for this mentioned learning and case, I'd like to discuss about any alternative solution to this particular problem that is pretty much feasible by Aapanel team to recover it from the server end? I know there are programs available for this, some are complex and some are pretty simple and straight forward. But I'd like to know if you have any similar incidental experience like me and what methods did you use to get it back?
