aaPanel_Jose saiy4 Cloud vendors will ban 25-port communication by default. You may need to contact your vendor to open this port.
mosaab hi, thank you so much for the awesome panel. i'm using GCP hosting and i made sure port 25 is open. still when i try to install the mail app it says i need to open port 25, i'm using debian. any suggestions?
aaPanel_Jose mosaab hello, please execute the following command and return me the result apt-get install telnet && telnet smtp.gmail.com 25
mosaab Trying 66.102.1.108... Trying 2a00:1450:400c:c07::6c... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Network is unreachable
aaPanel_Jose mosaab The mail server needs to be able to access port 25 of other servers to deliver mail, so this is the first reason to check. Your server cannot access Google's port 25. You need to contact the server provider to release it.
symatree I'm using Google Cloud to host a aaPanel server and can confirm Google block all SMTP email ports at their level, even if you configure you firewall to open them the traffic will be blocked. You will need to configure Postfix to relay through a third party like MailGun or by using a google email account
adminmanu hey im getting this "A record parsing failed" can anyone help me i contacted host provider and port 25 is open and i added A record in cloudflare but still showing this A record parsing failed
aaPanel_Jose adminmanu You can ping A record on the host and check its return value just like ping mail.google.com PING googlemail.l.google.com (172.217.27.133) 56(84) bytes of data.

aaPanel_Kern aaP_darwin Hello, there is no A record found for mail at present, try to add it again, change the auto to 1 minute, and then try again later?
