aaPanel_Kern
I've added rules from the command line (as you said). According to the /var/log/fail2ban.log the customized jail was created correctly. However, querying the fail2ban status with systemctl status fail2ban
returns a failed.
Below is the following error:
ERROR Failed to access socket path: /www/server/panel/plugin/fail2ban/fail2ban/fail2ban.sock. Is fail2ban running?
From the aaPanel admin panel everything seems to work correctly. After trying to browse the fail2ban.sock file from the aaPanel file explorer, the following error is displayed:
After trying to view the fail2ban.sock file from the command line, the following error is displayed:
[ Error reading /www/server/panel/plugin/fail2ban/fail2ban.sock: No such device or address ]
Restarting does not work. The only way I can recover fail2ban is to uninstall it and reinstall it from aaPanel. Please could you tell me what I am doing wrong or if there is a way to customise fail2ban beyond the limitations of the plugin?
Thanks!
