After a restart i noticed that the mysql (version 5.7.43) is stopped but when i tried to start or restart it I m getting this error from aapanel: mysqld service failed to start
i also noticed that there is no file called mysqld in /etc/init.d/ although I can find it in /www/server/mysql/bin/mysqld
I tried to uninstall and reinstall mysql via aapanel however it does not allow me to do saying the database list is not empty. For your data security please backup and delte the existing database
forced uninstall command rm -rf /www/server/mysql
Now how can i troubleshoot this situation? Please note that I have some sites and databases and i need to keep them.
I also tried to update it but after everything finished i saw this in the update log:
-- Installing: /www/server/mysql/support-files/mysql.server
mysql.sh: line 678: /etc/init.d/mysqld: No such file or directory
