When a new site is added, it is given a name based on the domain name, labeled in the table header as "Site name".
If the domain name is later changed for the site record, while keeping all of the operational parameters the same, then the "Site name" remains the same, and becomes mismatched to the current domain name.
It may appear that the "Site name" is simply a label whose value is not significant.
Nevertheless, both confusion and conflicts may develop from the mismatch.
Worse, however, it appears that an inaccurate value for "Site name" may trigger fail2ban, such that any client, even one well behaved, may be banned, simply because the of the rule comparing the value for "Site name" to the domains included on the secure certificate.
A further kind of conflict is that new sites may not be created with domain names the same as any currently used "Site name", even if the actual domain name has been removed from the site record.
Is it possible change the value for "Site name" to reflect the domain names currently associated with the site?
Otherwise, is it possible to work around the fail2ban rules that block all access to the web site?
