The 502 is usually caused by PHP not running correctly.
You can try to restart the PHP version used by WP to check it
(it may be that the PHP process is stuck and cannot be restarted. At this time, you need to execute the command to execute pkill -9 php-fpm and then start PHP )
aaPanel_Jose so i tried the command then checked php 7.3, it was stopped then i restarted.
i still get bad gateway 502.
anything else to suggest to me to try?

TheWormsUnited i did uninstall free firewall that was on this forum but i still got the one that comes with aapanel.
tried another browser so it wasnt cache.
what should i do if it was a dns issue do i do anything in advanced dns @ namecheap.com?

norge how are you managing your firewall? If you are not using internal firewall app, what do you use? Namecheap should be 1, 2, 3 done configurations, they're pretty good on DNS. Can you do a dns inspection and paste the results?

TheWormsUnited yes its the firewall app from aapanel not the nginx free firewall.
as far as namecheap i dont think its anything with them as i admit it is 1,2,3 done which also there was a site i almost got running but had forum software errors and wasn't wordpress.
ssl isnt deployed should it be? and how would i setup that if i need it?

aaPanel_Jose hey there is now a problem updating wordpress after installed the error as i googled says to update php i updated php 7.3 hoping to fix but the problem i have php 7.4 installs but doesnt says installed
norge did you try to check the status on SSH or clicking on Fix (on top menu in aaPanel)?

i had to hit fix before when 7.3 was installed, but now php install doesnt stick and show installed

norge mmm that is really strange. How about removing the php or remove version and replace for another version have you tried that as well my friend?

TheWormsUnited i took a screenshot. i managed today to get php 7.3 back installed, however it wont upgrade to newer 7.3 php and the php service says stopped.
