jfoc hi, As we know the file and folder of website is owned by www and I create a FTP user account for developer so they will able to add/edit file using FTP. But the developer said they are unable to add/edit the files but they were able to login into FTP using their credential. Is the FTP user account same as regular linux user? I checked the /etc/passwd there is no the created ftp user account, so I am assume its not real linux user?
aaPanel_Kern Hello, the ftp account is not connected with the system account, can they view the files? Is the server open port 20, 21, 39000-40000? Is the root directory of the ftp account the same as the website? jfoc
jfoc aaPanel_Kern yes they able to view. port is opened since they able to login. the ftp account root directory is the website directory
