Zip Php Extension Installation

How to install zip extension on my vps. i have tried available options from the older threads but could not able to install it.

Hi, try to install the zip extension manually

cd /www/server/php/74/src/ext/zip
/www/server/php/74/bin/phpize
./configure --with-php-config=/www/server/php/74/bin/php-config
make && make install
		
extFile='/www/server/php/74/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20190902/zip.so'
echo -e "extension = " ${extFile} >> /www/server/php/74/etc/php.ini
echo -e "extension = " ${extFile} >> /www/server/php/74/etc/php-cli.ini
/etc/init.d/php-fpm-74 reload

Tried already from your old answer for the same problem and now gain but could not install it

installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBZIP_CFLAGS

and LIBZIP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

you can do this if you have problem with libzip-devel
