How to use redis with phpredis ?

I'm using Laravel and i want to use redis as a cache driver, i have installed redis from the App Store and installing redis extension from PHP menu. But i got an error "Please make sure the PHP Redis extension is installed and enabled."
Any idea ? Please don't suggest me to use predis, i just want to use phpredis

Redis extension is already loaded in php.ini

I found out the problem, php has 2 different .ini files, one for cli and one for web so i need to add redis.so extension manually to php-cli.ini
