ssl for the panel

Hi,

Can you add Letsencypt ssl for the panel it self on on port 8888 by default?
Or when we select to turn on ssl from the panel,cause now its not working.

bro for IP you cont add letsencrypt ssl , you need to configure to domain like cp.domain.com .

Amit, you can make a reverse proxy to your panel and encrypt the reverse proxy using the panel. This way you can have an encrypted connection to your panel.

An error occurred during a connection to "My panel address ' ...:8888:*' ". You have received an invalid certificate. Please contact the server administrator or email correspondent and give them the following information: Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. Error code: SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL

How do I fix it or disable ssl login?

It may be that a bug caused the panel certificate to not be automatically updated.
I want to check in your panel, please send your login information to zhwyeah@gmail.com if you allow,

if not ,you can close the panel ssl on the command line, you can directly use the following command
rm -f /www/server/panel/data/ssl.pl

and i want to know why this is caused by you. Could you give me some information?

Has the panel certificate expired? (Free application of Let's Encrypt is valid for 3 months)
Is the certificate applied together when setting the panel ssl?

In same situation can't access to panel but server still working, the problem start when activate ssl for panel
Sorry, You do NOT Have Permission to Access.

Please check the domain!

View domain bound: cat /www/server/panel/data/domain.conf

Turn off access limit: rm -f /www/server/panel/data/domain.conf

you can run bt 12 in the ssh terminal, it will cancel the domain binding limit

i am unable to active ssl for the control panel. after running the code rm -f /www/server/panel/data/ssl.pl

can't access the panel. getting error. please help.

After turning off ssl, you need to execute bt restart and use http protocol to access the panel

Hello @all,

I found an easy way :

create a website on aaPanel with the same domain name as aaPanel (ie: mydomain)
enable SSL for this website
connect to the machine via SSH
cd /www/server/panel/ssl
move existing certificates to a safe place (for backup) : mv * /root/backup
rm *
ln -s /www/server/panel/vhost/cert/mydomain/privkey.pem privateKey.pem
ln -s /www/server/panel/vhost/cert/mydomain/fullchain.pem certificate.pem

Now, aaPanel should renew the certificate as it is in the CRON tasks.

GoPanel sorry, I didn't understand your message.
The point is not about renewal. It is about enabling SSL on the aaPanel itself using Let's Encrypt. Unless I'm wrong, I didn't find such a feature.
